Let me journey through the lands, seeking
Let me wander through the lands seeking
A gain in wealth that, even if not abundant, still adds luster.
The grace of wealth, if it does not flee from me,

For the pawn on the leather chessboard, though the lowliest of all
For the grapevine, though it be the lowliest thing,
Upon it, becomes a vizier when it advances.
When it spreads, becomes vines.
