Keep to boiled nabidh, for it
Partake of fermented wine, for it
is lawful if it does not snatch away reason and understanding.
Is lawful if the mind and understanding remain intact.

And disregard the claim of whoever says that a little of it
Disregard those who say a little of it
contributes to intoxication, so both are alike in ruling.
Leads to inebriation, so both are equally prohibited.

For what falls below the threshold does not have the ruling
What falls short of the legal limit has no ruling -
of the threshold, even if that threshold is reached through it.
The limit itself completes the ruling.
