I would ransom you, O soul of all noble virtues,

with the most precious I possess—my spirit and my soul.

I have been imprisoned, and after the eclipse comes radiance,

by which the horizons shine for the full moon and the sun.

So do not regard confinement as sorrow and loneliness,

for a person's existence begins in the narrowest confinement.
