والمُستغاثَ لِشدَّةِ الكَرْبِ
I cried, 'To arms!' at the fury of war,
The weapons were sharpened for the intensity of war,
And 'Help!' at the anguish of distress,
And the distressed cried out for the intensity of adversity.

'This is the wrongdoer—so cut my heart to pieces.'
"This offender - so cut out my heart!"
