بِنَيْسابورَ ساداتٌ كِرامٌ

بِنَيْسابورَ ساداتٌ كِرامٌ

ترى أحلامَهُمْ أحلامَ عادِ

ترى أحلامَهُمْ أحلامَ عادِ

In Nishapur are generous lords;

you find their wisdom like the wisdom of ʿĀd.

إذا بدءُوا بخيرٍ تَّمموهُ

إذا بدءُوا بخيرٍ تَّمموهُ

وعادُوا بعدَهْ أحلى معَادِ

وعادُوا بعدَهْ أحلى معَادِ

When they begin a good deed, they complete it,

and afterward make the sweetest return.
