I have trusted in my Lord and entrusted my affairs
To Him, and He is sufficient for me as a helper.

مُسَطَّرَةٌ في كِتابٍ مُبيتِ
And I am certain that the affairs of humankind
Are inscribed in a book prepared beforehand.
فلاso do not تَبتئِسْbe distressed بصُروفِby the vicissitudes of الزَّمانِtime
فلا تَبتئِسْ بصُروفِ الزَّمانِ
ودَعْنيand leave me فإنَّfor indeed يَقينيmy certainty يَقينيprotects me
ودَعْني فإنَّ يَقيني يَقيني
So do not be distressed by the vicissitudes of time,
And leave me, for my certainty protects me.
