يامَنO you who يُؤمِّلُhopes for فيin دُنياهُhis worldly life عافيةًwell-being
يامَن يُؤمِّلُ في دُنياهُ عافيةً
أبعدْتَyou have gone too far ماnot أنتَyou فيin دارِan abode of المُعافاةِsafety
أبعدْتَ ما أنتَ في دارِ المُعافاةِ
O you who hope for well-being in your worldly life,
Your hopes reach too far; you are not in an abode of safety.
دُنياكَyour worldly life ثَغْرٌa frontier outpost فكنْso be فِيهاin it علىon حَذَرٍguard
دُنياكَ ثَغْرٌ فكنْ فِيها على حَذَرٍ
فالثَّغرُfor the frontier outpost مثوىa dwelling place of مَخافاتٍfears وآفاتِand calamities
فالثَّغرُ مثوى مَخافاتٍ وآفاتِ
Your world is a frontier outpost, so be on your guard within it,
For the frontier is a dwelling place of fears and calamities.
