كأنَّas though الغُصونَthe branches وقدand now أُثقِلَتْhave been weighed down

It is as though the branches, now weighed down
by the ripe fruit they bear,
رِقابُnecks الأنامِhumankind وقدand now أصبحَتْhave become
مُثَقَّلَةًburdened بالأياديwith the favors الكِبارِgreat
were the necks of humankind, now
burdened with great favors.
