راحتُنا في أذى قَفاهُ
We have a friend who excels at eating;
We have a friend who excels at eating
Our comfort lies in hurting his nape.
Our peace is disturbed by his gluttony
ماذاقَhe has not tasted منfrom كَسْبِهِhis earnings ولكنْand yet
ماذاقَ من كَسْبِهِ ولكنْ

أذَى قَفاهُ أذاقَ فَاهُ
He has tasted nothing from his own earnings, and yet
He has tasted of his earnings, but
The hurt to his nape has given his mouth a taste.
His gluttony has made his mouth suffer
