بانَ وذِكراهُ ما تفارِقُني

وكيفَ وهْوَ السَّوادُ في الحَدَقهْ

He departed, yet his memory never leaves me.

And how could it, when he is the blackness within the pupil?

إن رده الله بعد غيبته

إن رده الله بعد غيبته

فكل مالي لوجهه صدقه

فكل مالي لوجهه صدقه

If God brings him back after his absence,

Then all my wealth shall be alms for the sake of his face.
