وإنْ هَممْتَ بأمرٍ

وإنْ هَممْتَ بأمرٍ

ولم تُطِقْ تخريجَهُ

ولم تُطِقْ تخريجَهُ

And if you set your mind to a matter,

If you attempt something

And cannot work it out,

But cannot carry it out,

فقِسْ قياساً صحيحاً

فقِسْ قياساً صحيحاً

واحكُمْ بِضِدِّ النَّتيجَهْ

واحكُمْ بِضِدِّ النَّتيجَهْ

Then make a sound deduction,

Then make a proper analogy

And judge by the opposite of the conclusion.

And judge the opposite result.
