O departing one, bridling his camels as evening falls,

My patience has already bridled its mounts: it is the first to depart.

God knows that, because of parting from you, I am

in burning anguish entwined with troubles.

If I try to bear your absence patiently, patience is the first

to forsake me, and justice the first to turn aside.
