يُسرانِtwo instances of ease وَعداًa promise ليسَthere is no فيهِin it خِلافُbreach
يُسرانِ وَعداً ليسَ فيهِ خِلافُ
Do not despair at hardship, for beyond it
Do not despair over hardship, for after it
are two eases—a promise in which there is no breach.

كمmany a عُسرةٍhardship قلِقَgrew anxious الفَتىthe young man لنُزولِهاbecause of its onset
كم عُسرةٍ قلِقَ الفَتى لنُزولِها
للهِGod has فيin إعسارِهاthe straits it brings ألطافُacts of kindness
للهِ في إعسارِها ألطافُ
How many a hardship has made a young man anxious at its coming,
Many a hardship has troubled a young man at its onset;
yet within the straitness it brings are God's subtle mercies.
God has acts of kindness amid the straits it brings.
