إذا ما ذَلَّ إنسانٌ بدارِ

إذا ما ذَلَّ إنسانٌ بدارِ

فمُرهُ بالرحيلِ على بِدارِ

فمُرهُ بالرحيلِ على بِدارِ

If a person is humiliated in a dwelling,

If a man becomes lowly in a land

then command him to depart in haste.

Then bid him farewell, and move on to another land

فأرضُ اللَهِ واسعةٌ فضاءٌ

فأرضُ اللَهِ واسعةٌ فضاءٌ

وفي أكنافِها دارٌ بدارِ

وفي أكنافِها دارٌ بدارِ

For God's earth is vast, an open expanse,

For God's earth is spacious and wide

and in its reaches is a dwelling to replace another.

And in its bosom lies house after house
