مبدع في شمائل المجد فضلاً

ما اهتدينا لأخذه واقتباسه

ما اهتدينا لأخذه واقتباسه

He creates an excellence among the qualities of glory

Creator of the traits of glory and virtue

that we have found no way to acquire or emulate.

We did not attain guidance to take and derive from him

فهو فَظُّ بالمالِ وقتَ نداهُ

فهو فَظُّ بالمالِ وقتَ نداهُ

وجَوادٌ بالعفوِ في وَقت بَاسِهْ

وجَوادٌ بالعفوِ في وَقت بَاسِهْ

For he is harsh toward wealth when bestowing his bounty,

He is stingy with wealth at the time of his call

and generous with pardon in the hour of his might.

And generous of pardon at the time of his affliction
