سُبحانَGlory be to مَنْthe One who سَخَّرَmade serve الأقوامَthe peoples كُلَّهُمُall of them
بالبعضthrough one another حتّىuntil استَوىbecame sound التدَّبيرُthe ordering of affairs واطّرداand ran smoothly
Glory to Him who made all peoples serve
Glorious is He who made all people serve each other
One another, until order was established and ran smoothly.
So that governance became steady and smooth
فصارَand so came to يخدُمُserve هّذاthis one ذاكَthat one منin جهةٍone respect
وذاكَand that one منin جهةٍone respect هذاthis one وإنْeven if بَعُداthey are far apart
So this one came to serve that one in one respect,
Thus one serves the other in one way
And that one this one in another, though they are far apart.
And the other serves the first though far away

He sees happiness in what he has attained and believed.
Seeing happiness in what he gained and believed
ياO آمريyou who urge me باقتناءto acquire المالwealth مُجتَهِداstriving diligently
كيماso that أعيشَI may live بماليon my wealth فيin غَدٍtomorrow رَغَداcomfortably
O you who urge me to strive to acquire wealth,
O one who strives hard to earn wealth
So that I may live comfortably on my wealth tomorrow,
So I may live wealthy tomorrow in prosperity
هَبْنيsuppose I بجَهديthrough my efforts قدalready أصلَحْتُI have put in order أمرَthe affairs of غدٍtomorrow
فَمنْthen who ضَمينيmy guarantor بتَحصيلِfor securing الحَيَاةِlife غَداtomorrow
Suppose I have, through my efforts, put tomorrow's affairs in order:
Grant me through my effort I mended tomorrow’s affairs
Then who will guarantee me life tomorrow?
So who will guarantee me acquiring life tomorrow
