مالَكَ من مالِكَ إلاّ الّذي

مالَكَ من مالِكَ إلاّ الّذي

أنفقْتَ فأنفِقْ طائعاً ما لَكا

أنفقْتَ فأنفِقْ طائعاً ما لَكا

None of your wealth is yours except what

You own nothing of what you own

You have spent; so spend willingly what is yours.

Except what you spent, so spend willingly.

تقولُ أعمالي ولو فَتَّشْتَ

تقولُ أعمالي ولو فَتَّشْتَ

رأيْتَ أعمالَكَ أعمى لَكا

رأيْتَ أعمالَكَ أعمى لَكا

You say, “My deeds!” Yet if you examined them,

You say they are my deeds, even if you examined

You would find your deeds blinding you.

You would see your deeds are blind for you.
