and a support for what his two hands seek.

When you seek his stature and poise

A support for what his hands desire;

فإذا ما حددت للكتب حدا

فإذا ما حددت للكتب حدا

وقفت عند حدي الأقلام

وقفت عند حدي الأقلام

So whenever I set a boundary for the books,

If you set a limit to books

So when I set a limit for the writings,

the pens stopped at my boundary.

My pens would stop at that line

The pens halt at my boundary.
