وأزرق اللون كلون السما

وأزرق اللون كلون السما

فيه لمن ينظر سر عجيب

فيه لمن ينظر سر عجيب

And one blue in hue, like the color of the sky,

And blue of color, like the color of the sky,

Within it lies a wondrous secret for whoever looks.

In it, for the beholder, lies a wondrous secret;

شع مع الصبح بأنفاسه

شع مع الصبح بأنفاسه

كأنما الصبح عليه رقيب

كأنما الصبح عليه رقيب

With the dawn, it radiated its breaths,

It radiated with the dawn through its breaths,

As though the dawn were a watchman over it.

As though the dawn were a guardian over it;

وباح في الليل بأسراره

وباح في الليل بأسراره

لما رأى الليل نهار الأريب

لما رأى الليل نهار الأريب

And at night it divulged its secrets,

And it revealed its secrets in the night,

When it deemed the night the discerning one's day.

When it saw the night as the day of the wise.
