سَتَنقَطِعُwill come to an end الدُنياthe world بِنُقصانِwith the loss of ناقِصٍone lost
مِنَfrom among الخَلقِthe creatures فيهاin it أَوor زِيادَةِthe addition of زائِدِone added
The world will end with the loss of one
The world will cease with the loss of one who is lost
Among its creatures, or the addition of one more.
Or the gain of one who has gained
وَمَنand whoever يَغتَنِمmakes good use of يَوماًa day يَجِدهُfinds it غَنيمَةًa gain
وَمَنand whoever فاتَهُhas passed him by يَومٌa day فَلَيسَthen it is not بِعائِدِgoing to return
And whoever makes good use of a day finds it a gain.
And he who makes the most of a day will find it a prize
And if a day passes someone by, it will not return.
While he who misses a day will find no return
وَماand not المَوتُdeath إِلّاexcept مَورِدٌa watering place عَنهُfrom it مَصدَرٌa place of departure
وَماand not الناسُthe people إِلّاexcept وارِدٌone arriving to drink بَعدَafter وارِدِone arriving to drink
And death is but a watering place from which one departs,
For death is but a homecoming for which men depart
And people are but one arrival after another.
And mankind are but comers after the first arrival
