O forgetter of death, whom death has not forgotten,
O you who forget death though death forgets you not,
Death has not forgotten you, though you do not remember it.
Death forgets you not, yet you do not remember it,

A man keeps putting off his offering
Man defers doing good deeds,
of good deeds, while the days grant him no respite.
But time does not wait for him,

Whoever does good for God's sake will not
He who does good for God's sake,
be deterred by the ingratitude of one who is ungrateful for it.
Ingratitude of the ungrateful does not keep him from doing it.
