فَدَيتُكِMay I be your ransom (addressing a woman) تَجميشُamorous teasing العَجوزِthe old woman بَلِيَّةٌan affliction
فَدَيتُكِ تَجميشُ العَجوزِ بَلِيَّةٌ
وَلاand not سِيَّماthe like of (with the preceding word: especially) مِنfrom بَرَّةٍa virtuous woman مُتَبَتِّلَةdevoted to worship
وَلا سِيَّما مِن بَرَّةٍ مُتَبَتِّلَة
May I be your ransom! An old woman's amorous teasing is an affliction,
Your folly is the torment of the aged woman
Especially from a virtuous woman devoted to worship.
Especially if she is an unfortunate widow
