Imbibe your heart with hatred of pleasures,
And remember taking up residence in the dwellings of the dead.
And recall the coming of the abodes of the dead.

It perishes and bequeaths lasting regrets.
It will vanish and leave lasting regrets.

And deviation from the appointed time is a form of error.
Beware of missing the appointed times.

Indeed, obligatory almsgiving is the companion of prayers.
For alms are paired with prayers.

And honor neighborly ties with your neighbors, freely offering
And be good to your neighbor fulfilling his needs,
To fulfill the needs they have requested.
By granting what he asks of necessities.

And lower your wing if you gain power,
And hold yourself above faults and failings.
And dislike vanity and weaknesses.
