قَد ماتَ خِلّي وَإِنسي
مُحَمَّدُMuhammad بنُson of يَزيدِYazid
مُحَمَّدُ بنُ يَزيدِ
Indeed, my dear friend and companion has died,
My friend and companion are dead

ماnot المَوتُdeath وَاللَهِby God مِنّاfrom us
ما المَوتُ وَاللَهِ مِنّا
خِلافَهُafter him بِبَعيدِfar away
خِلافَهُ بِبَعيدِ
Death, by God, is not
By God, death is not far from us
far from us after him.
