إِذا ما استَجَزتَ الشَكَّ في بَعضِ ما تَرى

إِذا ما استَجَزتَ الشَكَّ في بَعضِ ما تَرى

فَما لا تَراهُ الدَهرَ أَمضى وَأَجوَزُ

فَما لا تَراهُ الدَهرَ أَمضى وَأَجوَزُ

If you deem doubt permissible about some of what you see,

When doubt afflicts you about some of what you see,

Then doubt about what you never see is more valid and more permissible.

What you cannot see, time has proven and made pass.
