كَمhow many نِعمَةٍa blessing لاnot يُستَقَلُّcan be fully accomplished بِشُكرِهاin giving thanks for it
كَم نِعمَةٍ لا يُستَقَلُّ بِشُكرِها
لِلَّهِbelonging to God فيin طَيِّthe folds of المَكارِهِadversities كامِنَهhidden
لِلَّهِ في طَيِّ المَكارِهِ كامِنَه
How many a blessing, for which thanks cannot be fully rendered,
How many blessings, for which thanks cannot suffice,
God has hidden in the folds of adversity!
Are hidden by Allah amidst adversity's garb.
