God bless your father! What an age
you have come to live in—and what people inhabit it!
كُلٌّeveryone يُوازِنُكَmatches you in المَوَدَّةَaffection دائِباًconstantly

Everyone constantly weighs his affection against yours,
giving to you and taking from you by the scales.
فَإِذاthen if رَأىhe sees رُجحانَan excess weight of حَبَّةِa seed of خَردَلٍmustard

Then, if he sees the balance tip by a mustard seed,
his affection inclines toward the heavier side.
