By God, by God, I do not care when
By God, by God, I care not when
I die, O Salm, after this journey.
I die, O Salm, after this journey.
أَلَيسَis it not قَدindeed طُفتُI circled حَيثَwhere طافَتshe circled وَقَبand [begins 'I kissed']
أَلَيسَ قَد طُفتُ حَيثَ طافَت وَقَب
بَلتُ[completes 'I kissed'] الَّذيthat which قَبَّلَتshe kissed مِنَof الحَجَرِthe stone
بَلتُ الَّذي قَبَّلَت مِنَ الحَجَرِ
Have I not circled where she circled, and
Have I not wandered where others wandered,
kissed the part of the stone that she kissed?
And kissed what others kissed of stone?
