بَدَنيmy body ناحِلٌthin وَصَبريand my patience بَدينُstout
بَدَني ناحِلٌ وَصَبري بَدينُ
وَاِعتِزاميand my resolve ماضٍunwavering وَجِسميand my body حَسيرُweary
وَاِعتِزامي ماضٍ وَجِسمي حَسيرُ
My body is thin, and my patience is stout.
And my resolve is unwavering, and my body is weary.
وَمِنَand from المَوتِdeath قَدindeed سَلِمتُI have escaped unharmed وَلَكِنand yet

And I have escaped death, but
after this, I shall come to death.
