A man is judged by another man

    when he walks beside him.

And one heart has, concerning another heart,

a sign when it meets it.

And for like compared with like,

    there are measures and resemblances.

And the eye holds enough for the eye,

    without mouths needing to speak.

    وَإِيّاكَ وَإِيّاهُ

    And do not keep company with a brother of ignorance;

    and beware of him.

For many an ignorant man has ruined

a forbearing man when he made him his brother.

And one with scabies, when he rubs

against a healthy man, infects him.
