وَما الفَضلُ في هَذا الزَمانِ لِأَهلِهِ

وَما الفَضلُ في هَذا الزَمانِ لِأَهلِهِ

وَلَكِنَّ ذا المالِ الكَثيرِ لَهُ الفَضلُ

وَلَكِنَّ ذا المالِ الكَثيرِ لَهُ الفَضلُ

And in this age, honor does not belong to those who deserve it;

The virtuous in this age get no regard,

but honor belongs to the possessor of abundant wealth.

But he who has the money gets the reward.
