بَينَ المَشاهِدَ أَو يَبكي بِهِ وَتَرُ
In every land you see a trace of my speech,
In every land you see a trace of my rhetoric
Amid gatherings, or a string weeps with it.
Among the sights or weeping over it is a lute

The sun never rises but my speech comes ahead of her,
The sun has not spread except it came preceding it
And in the western lands, a trace of it remains behind her.
And in the west behind it is a trace
