إنindeed الإمامَthe imam هوَhe الطبيبُthe physician وقدand indeed شفىhe healed
إن الإمامَ هوَ الطبيبُ وقد شفى
عللَailments البريةِof humankind ظاهراًoutwardly ودخيلاand inwardly
عللَ البريةِ ظاهراً ودخيلا
Indeed, the imam is the physician, and he has healed
The Imam is the healer, and he has cured
the ailments of humankind, outward and inward.
The ailments of mankind, overt and obscure
حملَhe bore البسيطةthe earth وهيwhile it تحملُbears شخصهُhis person
حملَ البسيطة وهي تحملُ شخصهُ
كالروحِlike the soul توجدُis found حاملاًbearing محمولاborne
كالروحِ توجدُ حاملاً محمولا
He bore the earth, while it bears his person,
He carried the simple, though it was he whom it bore
like the soul, found both bearing and borne.
As the soul exists, the bearer and borne
