وقد يكسفُ البدر عند التمام
O Ibn Khiyar, you have attained your goal.
O you the best of choice reaching wishes
Yet the full moon may be eclipsed at its fullness.
The full moon itself feels shy before you
فأينso where الوزيرthe vizier أبوAbu (father of) جعفرٍJaʿfar
فأين الوزير أبو جعفرٍ
واينand where المقربthe favored one عبدʿAbd (servant of) السلامal-Salam (the Peace)
واين المقرب عبد السلام
Where, then, is the vizier Abu Jaʿfar?
So where is the minister Abu Ja'far
And where is the favored ʿAbd al-Salam?
And where is the confidant 'Abdus Salam
