اصفرُ الخيريّ يشهد

اصفرُ الخيريّ يشهد

أَنّ عقدَ الوردِ قد رُد

أَنّ عقدَ الوردِ قد رُد

The yellow wallflower bears witness

The yellow dates bear witness

that the garland of roses has been rejected.

That the string of pearls is returned

ويرى أنَّ البهارَ ال

ويرى أنَّ البهارَ ال

مُنتفى اغلى وامجِد

مُنتفى اغلى وامجِد

And deems the oxeye,

And sees that the perfume is not

the banished one, more precious and more glorious.

More precious or glorious

ملكٌ يقظانُ يأتي

ملكٌ يقظانُ يأتي

وصُنوفُ النَّورِ هُجَّد

وصُنوفُ النَّورِ هُجَّد

A wakeful king comes,

An awake king comes

while the kinds of blossoms slumber.

And kinds of light are prepared
