And a lush garden, ever nourished by what
A garden, so green, that is always nourished
comes to it from clouds at evening and at morning.
By the rain clouds that pass over it

بلونٍ كلون المُستهامِ المُسهَّدِ
The yellow narcissus appeared within it, boasting
The yellow daffodils blossomed proudly
of a hue like that of one lovesick and sleepless.
With a color like that of embroidered brocade

كلمَّة تِبرٍ فوق جيدِ زَبرجَدِ
You see each of its blossoms atop its stalk,
Each ray of light upon their stems
like a lock of gold above a neck of peridot.
Is like a word of purity over a necklace of emerald

If ever a breeze from it wafts to a lovelorn soul,
When a gentle breeze blows through them
the cloak of burning heartache slips away from him.
It carries away their burning fervor

فداهُmay they ransom him عِداهُhis enemies كمhow many لهُhe has مِنof فضيلةٍvirtue

May his enemies be his ransom! How many virtues he has,
May his glory last, so virtuous is he
and how much lavish bounty, through which every seeker of gifts grows rich!
With excellences that inspire all who strive
