وروضةٍ رَضيت عن
صوبِdownpour الحياthe rain المُستَمّرِunceasing
صوبِ الحيا المُستَمّرِ
And a garden, pleased with
In a garden I was pleased with
the unceasing downpour of rain,
Towards the ever-flowing river
فأظهرتthen it brought forth نَورَblossom نَيلوwater lily (word begins here)
فأظهرت نَورَ نَيلو
فَرٍwater lily (word continues here) مُنيرٍradiant أَغرِّdazzling white
فَرٍ مُنيرٍ أَغرِّ
then brought forth the blossom of a water-
So it showed the light of a radiant
lily, radiant and dazzling white,
Blue lotus flower
كمِحبَرٍlike an inkwell منof لُجينٍsilver
كمِحبَرٍ من لُجينٍ
فيهِin it بقيّةٌa remnant حِبرِink
فيهِ بقيّةٌ حِبرِ
like an inkwell of silver
Like ink of dark blue
with a remnant of ink within it.
