إِذاwhen زاءَhe approaches مَحلوقاًa brimful trough أَكَبَّhe bends down بِرَأسِهِwith his head
إِذا زاءَ مَحلوقاً أَكَبَّ بِرَأسِهِ
وَأَبصَرتُهُand I saw him يَأزيhe draws near إِلَيَّtoward me وَيَزحَلُand he moves away
وَأَبصَرتُهُ يَأزي إِلَيَّ وَيَزحَلُ
When, shaven-headed, he struts, he bows his head low;
When he approaches a brimful trough, he bends his head down.
I see him edging toward me, then drawing away.
And I saw him draw near to me and move away.
