ذكرتI remembered ولمand did not أذكرI remember حقيقةtrue nature ذكرهHis remembrance
ذكرت ولم أذكر حقيقة ذكره
ولكنand yet بداويmanifestations الحقthe Real تبدوappear فأنطقso I speak
ولكن بداوي الحق تبدو فأنطق
I remembered, yet did not remember the true nature of His remembrance.
I recalled though I did not recall the reality of remembering it
But the manifestations of the Real appear, and so I speak.
Yet with remedies of truth, meanings appear, so I utter
إذاwhen ماemphatic particle بداarose ذكرa remembrance لذكرof a remembrance ذكرتهI remembered it
إذا ما بدا ذكر لذكر ذكرته
يغيبنيit makes me oblivious عنto ذكرremembering ذكريmy remembrance فأغرقso I drown
يغيبني عن ذكر ذكري فأغرق
Whenever a remembrance of a remembrance I have remembered arises,
When the mention of a mention appears, I remember it
It makes me oblivious to remembering my remembrance, so I drown.
It makes me absent from the mention of my mention, so I drown
وأغرقand I drown بالذكرthrough remembrance الذيthat قدalready ذكرتهI remembered it
وأغرق بالذكر الذي قد ذكرته
عنaway from الذكرremembrance بالذكرthrough remembrance الذيthat هوit أسبقprior
عن الذكر بالذكر الذي هو أسبق
And I drown through the remembrance that I have already remembered,
And I drown in the mention I had remembered
Away from remembrance, through the remembrance that is prior.
