للنبي صاحب البراق نحا
ركبa caravan فكرof thought قامarose بالأملwith hope
ركب فكر قام بالأمل
Toward the Prophet, master of Buraq, turned
For the Prophet, companion of Al-Buraq we sang
a caravan of thought that arose in hope.
He rode the steed of thought, stood with hope
ذاthis one عليهupon him الصلاةblessings قدalready ثبتتwere established
ذا عليه الصلاة قد ثبتت
قبلbefore بدءthe beginning of الخلقcreation فيin الأزلeternity
قبل بدء الخلق في الأزل
Upon this one, blessings had already been established
Upon him blessings were bestowed
before the beginning of creation, in eternity.
Before creation's dawn, since time immemorial
وهوand he ذخريmy treasure فيin الخطوبcalamities وليand for me
وهو ذخري في الخطوب ولي
خيرthe best مأمولone hoped for ونعمand excellent is وليa protector
خير مأمول ونعم ولي
And he is my treasure in calamities, and for me
He is my reserve in hardships, and my guardian
the best one hoped for, and an excellent protector.
The best refuge, an excellent loyal guardian
