1. الى شيخون تنعطف الاماني

    كشهب الخيل تسرع بالوثوب

    Toward Shaykhun the hopes turn,

    Like grey horses, they hasten in leaps.

  2. تتور بها القلوب بلا توان

    الى اعتاب صياد القلوب

    Hearts surge with them, without delay,

    Toward the thresholds of the hunter of hearts.

  3. اثيل المجد عز الدين ذخري

    حسام النصر في داجي الخطوب

    ‘Izz al-Din, of deep-rooted glory, my treasure,

    The sword of victory in the darkness of calamities.

  4. سليل السيد الاسد الرفاعي

    امام صدور ركبان الغيوب

    Scion of the master, the lion al-Rifa‘i,

    Imam of the foremost riders of unseen realms.

  5. لجأت اليه اعثر من حيائي

    بذيلي نغماسي بالعيوب

    I sought refuge in him, stumbling from my shame,

    Over the hem of my immersion in faults.

  6. وغوث الاولياء ابو علي

    عليا في لملمات الكروب

    And the succor of the saints, Abu ‘Ali,

    Lofty amid the gathering masses of distress.

  7. هو ابن المصطفى والآل قوم

    بهم ينجو المكبر الذنوب

    He is a son of the Chosen One; the Household are a people

    Through whom one who heaps up sins is saved.

  8. عليهم كل آونة سلام

    يجدد في الصباح وفي العروب

    Upon them, at every moment, be peace,

    Renewed in the morning and at sunset.
