بكم يا آل خير المرسلين
توسلناwe have sought nearness لربto the Lord of العالمينall worlds
توسلنا لرب العالمين
Through you, O family of the best of messengers,
With you, O Family of the Best of Messengers
we have sought nearness to the Lord of all worlds.
We implored the Lord of the Worlds
فانتمfor you are خيرthe best منthose who ركبrode المطاياmounts
فانتم خير من ركب المطايا
وساداتand the masters of الرجالmen العارفينthose who know God
وسادات الرجال العارفين
For you are the best of those who have ridden mounts,
For you are the best of those who rode steeds
and the masters of men who know God.
And the pillows of the knowledgeable men
وانتمand you are فيamong الورىhumankind اهلpeople of المعاليlofty honors
وانتم في الورى اهل المعالي
وقاداتand leaders of الفحولthe eminent men الواصلينthose who have attained nearness to God
وقادات الفحول الواصلين
And among humankind you are people of lofty honor,
And you are in existence the people of glory
and leaders of the eminent men who have attained nearness to God.
And leaders of the accomplished spiritualists
بكمthrough you فيin القحطdrought نستسقيwe seek rain الغواديthe morning rain clouds
بكم في القحط نستسقي الغوادي
ويومand on the day of الخوفfear نغدوwe go forth آمنينsafe
ويوم الخوف نغدو آمنين
Through you, in drought, we seek rain from the morning clouds,
With you in drought we implore the valleys to rain
and on the day of fear we go forth in safety.
And on the day of fear we become secure
بكمthrough you منfrom ربناour Lord نعطىwe are granted المرجىwhat is hoped for
بكم من ربنا نعطى المرجى
وندخلand we enter فيinto صنوفthe ranks of الصالحينthe righteous
وندخل في صنوف الصالحين
Through you, our Lord grants us what we hope for,
With you from our Lord we are given what we hope for
and we enter the ranks of the righteous.
And enter into the ranks of the righteous
نعمyes انتمyou are شموسthe suns of الناسhumankind دهراthrough the ages
نعم انتم شموس الناس دهرا
وابناءand sons of الكرامthe noble ones الطاهرينthe pure ones
وابناء الكرام الطاهرين
Yes, you are the suns of humankind through the ages,
Yes, you are the people's suns eternally
and sons of the noble and pure.
And sons of the pure and dignified
لكمfor you كلall المفاخرglories قدindeed تناهتhave reached their utmost limit
لكم كل المفاخر قد تناهت
ولألأand gleamed نوركمyour light فيon طورMount سيناSinai
ولألأ نوركم في طور سينا
In you all glories have reached their highest point,
To you belong all supreme merits
and your light has gleamed on Mount Sinai.
And for you is the light at Mount Sinai
وانتمand you are للورىfor humankind ابداforever امانa safeguard
وانتم للورى ابدا امان
ومعراجand a ladder of الهدىguidance للسالكينfor spiritual wayfarers
ومعراج الهدى للسالكين
And you are forever a safeguard for humankind,
And you are for existence forever a refuge
and a ladder of guidance for those who walk the path.
And the ascension of guidance for the adherents
بفضلكمconcerning your excellence لناto us الآياتthe verses جاءتhave come
بفضلكم لنا الآيات جاءت
وبابكموand your gate ملاذa refuge for المتقينthe God-fearing
وبابكمو ملاذ المتقين
Verses have come to us telling of your excellence,
By your grace the signs came to us
and your gate is the refuge of the God-fearing.
And through your door is the sanctuary of the devout
صلاةthe blessing of اللهGod والتسليمand the greeting of peace منهfrom Him
صلاة الله والتسليم منه
عليكمupon you آلfamily of احمدAhmad اجمعينall of you
عليكم آل احمد اجمعين
May God's blessing and the greeting of peace from Him
May the prayers and peace of God
be upon you, family of Ahmad, all of you.
Be upon you, Family of Ahmed, all together
