1. نشر العناية قد هبت نسائمه

    والسعد قد رسمت فينا رسائمه

    The fragrance of providence—its breezes have blown;

    And good fortune's signs have been traced within us.

  2. ولاح نور التهاني والسرور بدت

    في عالم الملأ الأعلى علائمه

    The light of felicitations shone, and joy showed

    Its signs in the realm of the Highest Assembly.

  3. وفي بطاح الهدى ركن القبول سمت

    حتى إلى الرفرف الأسمى قوائمه

    And in guidance's broad plains, the pillar of acceptance rose,

    Its supports reaching even the loftiest Rafraf.

  4. وقام ذاك مع العلم القديم وقد

    رست على هامة العليا دعائمه

    And that stood with eternal knowledge, while

    Its buttresses were anchored upon sublimity's summit.

  5. وفاض بحر العطا الغيبي وانتظمت

    أمواجه وسقى الأكوان دائمه

    And the sea of unseen bounty overflowed; into harmony came

    Its waves, and its ceaseless flow watered the worlds.

  6. والخير تم لنا واللَه أيدنا

    بسيد عمت الدنيا مكارمه

    And goodness was complete for us, and God strengthened us

    Through a master whose noble deeds embraced the world:

  7. محمد الرسل عين الأنبيا علم ال

    أكوان أعظم من ترجى غنائمه

    Muhammad of the messengers, essence of the prophets, banner of the

    Worlds, the greatest of those whose spoils are hoped for.

  8. شمس سرى في فجاج الملك لامعها

    وعلم غرق الأملاك ساجمه

    A sun whose radiance traveled through dominion's broad paths,

    And knowledge whose pouring rain drowned the angels;

  9. وروح معرفة أسرار هيكلها

    عزت ومظهرها جلت عزائمه

    And a spirit of gnosis, whose form's mysteries

    Are beyond reach, and whose manifestation's resolves are sublime.

  10. خير الوجود عظيم الجود سيد أص

    حاب الشهود ومن عمت مراحمه

    Best of existence, immense in generosity, master of the

    Companions of witnessing, and one whose mercies embrace all.

  11. أبو البتول ومصباح القبول رسو

    ل اللَه عين الورى معنى وناظمه

    Father of al-Batul, lamp of acceptance, Messenger

    Of God, creation's essence in meaning and its arranger.

  12. رواق علم غيوب اللَه نكتته ال

    مطموسة الحرف أجمالاً وعالمه

    The pavilion of knowledge of God's unseen mysteries, its subtle point

    Whose letter is effaced, in sum, and its knower.

  13. باب الحضيرة كشاف المهمة لو

    ح الغيب إذ فيه قد جلت طلاسمه

    Gate of the sacred precinct, dispeller of distress, tablet

    Of the unseen, for within it its talismans have become clear.

  14. قامت به دولة الإيمان وانتسقت

    أحكامه والهدى زينت مراسمه

    Through him the reign of faith arose, and harmonious became

    Its ordinances, and guidance's rites were adorned.

  15. فاللَه كافله والنصر صاحبه

    والخير تابعه والسعد خادمه

    Thus God is his guardian, and victory his companion,

    And goodness his follower, and good fortune his servant.

  16. به تشيد دين اللَه وانتشرت

    أعلامه بعد أن هدت معالمه

    Through him God's religion was built up, and unfurled were

    Its banners, after its landmarks had been razed.

  17. كفى الضعيف عن الأحزاب ثم حمى

    حمى الحقير الذي أعناه ظالمه

    He shielded the weak from the factions, then defended

    The refuge of the lowly one whom his oppressor had worn down.

  18. وأيد العدل حتى قال قائل من

    في الكون هذا رسول العدل حاكمه

    And he upheld justice, until a speaker said—one of those

    In the world—“This is justice's messenger, the world's ruler.”

  19. فكل مفتقر تلقاه كافله

    وكل باغٍ عنيدٍ فهو قاصمه

    Thus you find him the guardian of every needy person,

    And every stubborn aggressor—he is the one who crushes him.

  20. أجل من وطئ الغبرا وأشرف من

    فوق السموات مجداً حام حائمه

    Most august of those who trod the dusty earth, and noblest of those

    Who soared, circling in glory above the heavens.

  21. فالناس والملك العلوي جحفلهم

    بباب حطته حطت عوالمه

    Thus humankind and the angels on high—their host:

    Its worlds alighted at his gate of forgiveness.

  22. يا سيدي يا رسول اللَه جد كرماً

    لخائفٍ وجل زادت جرائمه

    O my master, O Messenger of God, bestow generously

    Upon a fearful, trembling one whose offenses have multiplied.

  23. وارحم عبداً أتى يدعوك مفتقرا

    وأنت واللَه حامه وراحمه

    And have mercy on a servant who came invoking you in need,

    And you, by God, are his protector and the one who shows him mercy.

  24. صلى عليك إله العرش ما كشفت

    بفضل اسمك من خطب عظائمه

    May the God of the Throne bless you, for as long as

    The horrors of calamity are lifted through the grace of your name,

  25. وآلك الغر والأصحاب وأنشدت

    نشر العناية قد هبت نسائمه

    And your radiant family and companions, and whenever I recite:

    “The fragrance of providence—its breezes have blown.”
