سوداء قد سحبتها في سويدائي
She passed in an arrow-patterned brocade robe,
She passed by in a gown of brocade, jet black,
Black, which she had trailed through my heart’s core.
That trailed behind her on the ground.

رمح من البرق يلوي داخل الماء
As she walked in her veil, she was like
As she walked in her veil,
A spear of lightning twisting within the water.
She was like a lightning bolt twisting inside the water.
