بها غصن روحي في التلهف يانع
A love for you has sprouted in my heart;
For you a love has grown within my heart,
Through it, the branch of my soul flourishes in yearning.

لقدindeed نبتتit has grown بيwithin me رغمdespite نيرانfires هجركمyour desertion
لقد نبتت بي رغم نيران هجركم
كماjust as نبتتgrew فيon الراحتينthe two palms الاصابعthe fingers
كما نبتت في الراحتين الاصابع
It has indeed grown within me despite the fires of your desertion,
It has grown in me despite the fires of your abandonment,
Just as fingers have grown on the two palms.
As fingers grow again on amputated hands.
