أسد اللَه فتى العزم أبا السا

أسد اللَه فتى العزم أبا السا

دة الأعيان بالفضل تدارك

دة الأعيان بالفضل تدارك

Lion of God, youth of resolve, father of the

Lion of God, hero of determination, father of

Eminent lords—come to my aid with grace.

The nobles in merit, you came to the rescue

يا علي القدر والاسم ويا

يا علي القدر والاسم ويا

حصن من يمم بالأفكار دارك

حصن من يمم بالأفكار دارك

O Ali—lofty in rank and name—and O

O Ali of destiny and name, and O

Stronghold of whoever turns his thoughts toward your dwelling.

Fortress for whoever comes near, your home

يا أمير الكل يا حيدرة ال

يا أمير الكل يا حيدرة ال

حرب يا من شيد اللَه منارك

حرب يا من شيد اللَه منارك

O prince of all, O Haydara of

O prince of all, O Haydar of

War—O you whose beacon God has raised.

War, O one whom God erected your minaret

يا أخا المختار يا صهر الرضى

يا أخا المختار يا صهر الرضى

يا مشبا في حشا الأعداء نارك

يا مشبا في حشا الأعداء نارك

O brother of the Chosen One, O son-in-law of the Well-Pleasing One,

O brother of the Chosen, O son-in-law of satisfaction

O you who kindle your fire in the enemies' entrails.

O candle in the darkness of enemies, your fire

أنا عبد غلبته عنوة

أنا عبد غلبته عنوة

شوكة الأعدا وبالذل استجارك

شوكة الأعدا وبالذل استجارك

I am a servant, overpowered by force—

I am a slave overcome against his will

By the enemies' might—and in abasement I sought your protection.

By the thorns of enemies, and in humiliation sought your refuge

وأبى اللَه تعلى أن يرى

وأبى اللَه تعلى أن يرى

فاتر الهمة من أصبح جارك

فاتر الهمة من أصبح جارك

And God, exalted is He, refuses to see

And God Most High refused that one should see

One who has become your ward slack in resolve.

Languid in spirit, one who became your neighbor

لا تضيعني وخذ لي بيدي

لا تضيعني وخذ لي بيدي

إنني منتظر منك انتصارك

إنني منتظر منك انتصارك

Do not abandon me; take me by the hand.

Do not let me down, and take me by the hand

Indeed, I await your victory on my behalf.

I await your victory

وسلام لك يهدي بالرضى

وسلام لك يهدي بالرضى

من لد اللَه تعالى وتبارك

من لد اللَه تعالى وتبارك

And peace be bestowed upon you with good pleasure,

And peace upon you, leading with satisfaction

From the presence of God, exalted and blessed is He,

To the presence of God Most High, blessed and exalted

وإلى بنت رسول اللَه من

وإلى بنت رسول اللَه من

تميم اللَه بعلياها افتخارها

تميم اللَه بعلياها افتخارها

And to the daughter of God's Messenger, whose

And to the daughter of the Messenger of God, from

Pride God [perfected?] through her exalted rank,

Whom God endowed superiority, her pride

وإلى السبطين والذرية ال

وإلى السبطين والذرية ال

غر والصحب ومن زار مزارك

غر والصحب ومن زار مزارك

And to the two grandsons and the descendants—the

And to the two grandsons and the progeny

Radiant ones—and the companions, and whoever has visited your shrine;

Pure and the companions, and whoever visited your tomb

وإلى أحباب هذا البيت ما

وإلى أحباب هذا البيت ما

قال من يرجوك بالفضل تدارك

قال من يرجوك بالفضل تدارك

And to the lovers of this House, for as long as

And to the lovers of this house, whoever

One who hopes in you says, 'Come to my aid with grace.'

Said, hoping for your merit, you came to the rescue
