قد ضاق رحب الفؤاد مني

قد ضاق رحب الفؤاد مني

وأحرقت مهجتي الإساءه

وأحرقت مهجتي الإساءه

Indeed, the heart’s wide expanse has grown narrow within me.

My spacious heart has tightened for me,

And wrongdoing has scorched my soul.

And my inner being has burned from evil.

لذاك بالذنب جئت أرجو

لذاك بالذنب جئت أرجو

محمداً صاحب البراءه

محمداً صاحب البراءه

So, bearing sin, I have come hoping for

So for that sin I have come hoping

Muhammad, the bearer of absolution.

For Muhammad the owner of innocence.
