وقلت الا فانظر جمالي لتجتلي

من الناس بدرا دونه البدر في العليا

And you said, 'Behold! Look upon my beauty, that you may see

And I said look! Here is my splendor, unveiled

Among humankind a full moon, before whom the moon on high falls short.'

The people's full moon, with no other moon comparable on high

عجبت لهذا السر في طي غيبه

لقد صدق الباري به عبده الرؤيا

I marveled at this mystery within the folds of its concealment.

I marveled at this mystery, hidden away

Indeed, through him the Creator made His servant's vision come true.

Truly, the Creator fulfilled for His servant the dream
