نحن باللَه عزنا

نحن باللَه عزنا

لا بخيل وموكب

لا بخيل وموكب

Our glory is through God,

Not through horses and a retinue.

فيه قد طال طولنا

في شمال ومغرب

في شمال ومغرب

In Him our stature has risen,

In the north and the west.

منه ثوب ابتهاجنا

منه ثوب ابتهاجنا

رغم أنف المكذب

رغم أنف المكذب

From Him comes the robe of our joy,

To the denier’s chagrin.

وبه طول باعنا

وبه طول باعنا

لا بجاه ومنصب

لا بجاه ومنصب

And through Him our reach is long,

Not through prestige and office.

كل من رام ذلنا

كل من رام ذلنا

عدة بالتغلب

عدة بالتغلب

Whoever seeks our humiliation,

Using resources to overpower us,

أو أراد انكسارنا

أو أراد انكسارنا

طامعاً بالتقرب

طامعاً بالتقرب

Or wishes to see us broken,

Hoping to draw near,

قاصداً كشف سترنا

قاصداً كشف سترنا

بين خل وأجنبي

بين خل وأجنبي

Intending to lift our veil

Among friend and stranger,

قائماً بالأذى لنا

قائماً بالأذى لنا

خصمه اللَه والنبي

خصمه اللَه والنبي

Engaged in causing us harm—

God and the Prophet are his adversaries.
