I tied my rope to the rope of the Phoenix of the East.

And from him I sought refuge in the majestic stronghold.

هو الكشاف للبلوى سريعاً

هو الكشاف للبلوى سريعاً

هو الجيلي فداه أنا وجيلي

هو الجيلي فداه أنا وجيلي

He is the one who swiftly dispels affliction.

He is al-Jili; may I and my generation be his ransom.
